My name is Chad Petrie, I’m a third year communications (new media) major minoring in creative writing hoping to pursue a writing career in the future. I see myself possibly considering a career abroad after my studies are completed and hope to eventually shift my focus to publishing fiction and poetry at some point in the future.

I took CMNS 3550 as an elective because in the new media stream in the communications program at TRU, I haven’t been too accustomed to the PR side of communications and wanted to step out of my comfort zone.
